Design and Construction of Three Well Pads

As part of the development of the Hvornum salt dome, the operator of the brine field required an additional three salt production wells to be constructed. WellPerform was tasked to prepare the site design, select the site construction contractor through competitive bidding and oversee the construction process of the agreed design.

The site design followed our internal design principles for well pads, which over time has been accepted by authorities as the reference standard in Denmark. The work includes all aspects of the construction plans, including CAD drawings, cellar construction, re-enforced concrete foundations, sewage requirements, waste-water pits and electrical grounding requirements.

All work was carried out safely and within expected budget using local contractors.
