Abandonment of geothermal wells

WellPerform was contracted by Sønderborg Varme as main advisor to plan and carry out abandonment of two geothermal wells. The scope includes preparation of operational programs for retrieval of the Electronic Submersible Pump (ESP),well integrity assessment based on wireline logs and actual abandonment of the wells.

Key deliverables:

-         Overall project management

-         Well engineering and planning

-         Tendering for services (ESP retrieval, wireline logging, workover rig, cementing, packers, drilling tools, fluids)

-         Preparation of operational programs and HSE plans

-         Supervision and on-site management

-         Permitting
