WellPerform has signed contract with Thisted Varmeforsyning to provide well engineering and supervision for an onshore geothermal well project.
The project includes planning, drilling and completion of an additional injector well for the existing geothermal plant, which already includes two wells (one producer & one injector).
The project has started and drilling is expected to commence during last part of 2017.
The existing geothermal plant is the oldest in Denmark and has successfully delivered heat since 1984 to Thisted district heating grid. With the new injector well, the capacity can be increased and the geothermal plant will contain more redundancy.
