WellPerform has just conducted a 2-day workshop for OMV Norge and Neptune Energy focused on the characteristics and controls of chalk hydrocarbon reservoirs. The workshop is part of the ongoing work and supervision we carry out for OMV Norge.
Together with GEUS (Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland) represented by Professor Lars Stemmerik and Senior Researcher Jon Ineson we planned and conducted this workshop for our clients. The event took place at the GEUS office as well as the Total– and GEUS core stores in Copenhagen and was hosted by our project manager and petrophysicist Søren A Christensen with participation by James Kiely, Benjamin Loidl, Britt Heskestad and Carol Baunack from our clients.
We hope (and believe) we send them back to Norway with a lot of new knowledge and insights to be utilized maturing their chalk prospect in license PL 970.
