Our exploration advisor Tina Rasmussen gave a webinar at the Innovative Concepts Workshop on the 29th of October. Tina's talk is equally relevant to exploration for geothermal resources as well as oil & gas. She gave an introduction to play based evaluation and how to use it in a large area identifying areas or prospects for detailed investigation.

Last week our project manager and petrophysicist Søren A Christensen gave a lecture on “how to quantify reservoir properties of a clastic geothermal reservoir. Søren elaborated on the practical experience with respect to estimation of key parameters of the reservoir. He had also prepared a real case exercise which gave the students a better understanding for the work

For those with an interesting in reservoir characterisation as used in the oil & gas- and the geothermal sector we want show some results of a machine learning study we finished this weekend. Recently, we did a deterministic evaluation of a finely laminated deep marine turbidite sandstone reservoir for OMV Norway. The study includes two wellbores - one with

A small snippet from our current well intervention operation in the Netherlands where we are working for AAB and Vogelaer. We have done the planning of the operation and presently supervising the installation of a new tie-back casing. Lars Bidstrup Sørensen is down there at well-site supervising the operation. He is supported by Thomas Nylandsted Werge-Gross and others at

Thermodynamic Pilot Project for TOTAL Denmark

By |2020-10-23T14:10:11+01:00September 7th, 2020|News, Oil & Gas|

Ida, our chemical engineer, has just completed a thermodynamic pilot project carried out for TOTAL Denmark. She analysed and modelled two different production wells. In one well scaling mostly takes place in the vertical section immediately above the reservoir and in the other scaling takes place over an interval below and close to the well head. Further,

Thermodynamic Modelling

By |2020-05-19T13:26:56+01:00May 19th, 2020|Geothermal, Knowledge sharing, Oil & Gas|

Chemical engineer Ida Arent Kirknel is our lead with respect to services and competencies within thermodynamic modelling - modelling of scaling and corrosion. Scale and corrosion management is a highly important issue to many Operators within geothermal energy and Oil and Gas dealing with production optimization and cost management. If scale and corrosion analysis is
