WellPerform has been selected by the Danish Energy Agency to perform a study on the risks associated with geothermal energy projects. This project is being carried out in cooperation with Sandroos Advokatfirma.
The main driver for the project is to accelerate the development of geothermal projects in Denmark
The report will include following areas:
- Possibilities for technical risk mitigation in geothermal projects
- Evaluation of current insurance schemes in geothermal projects
- Assessment of international experiences in peer countries
- Suggestions of models for further risk mitigation and project acceleration
